Travel Counsellors toasts overseas success

| International expansion has helped a UK travel firm reach 56th place on a list of British companies with fast growing overseas sales.
Following growth in international sales last year, independent home-working agency Travel Counsellors was named on The Sunday Times HSBC International Track 200 list. More good news for the UK travel industry saw two other travel firms, Key Travel and Jac Travel, also make the list, ranked 59th and 159th respectively. Travel Counsellors managing director Steve Byrne said international expansion ensured the firm continued to flourish despite difficult economic times with a business model supporting its agents working in travel jobs in providing "exceptional customer service". He added: "Despite our international expansion at our heart we are still a family business and we believe it's this family ethos that has been a major contributor to our success and has driven the care and attention we offer to our Travel Counsellors and their customers."
