Singapore Airlines has hired a new public relations manager for its operations in the UK and Ireland.
Zoe Martin, who joined the firm earlier this month, will be in charge of running the airline's press office and working with the Weber Shandwick PR agency.
The role is the latest in a series of high-profile travel jobs for Martin, who previously worked as European PR manager at American Airlines.
The Durham University graduate also became a member of the CIPR after obtaining the CIPR diploma.
Her new role will see her developing social media content strategies for Singapore Airlines and managing relations with stakeholders.
She will also be tasked with running PR campaigns and presenting the airline's responses to key issues affecting the aviation industry, such as Air Passenger Duty.
Martin said: "I am very excited to have joined Singapore Airlines as it prepares to become the first all-A380 operator flying from London Heathrow later this year and launches Darwin, Australia as a new destination in March, in conjunction with SilkAir."
